The Opticians Association of Rhode Island (OARI) is Rhode Island’s ONLY professional organization for opticians, and we have a long and rich history of serving our members. Our members include opticians that are new to the field as well as those with decades of experience and our goal is to improve the professional lives for all.

We are committed to protecting the interests of our members and advancing the profession of opticianry by:

• Providing and promoting continuing education to enhance the competency of our members
• Working with state agencies to help shape governmental policies that affect Opticians
• Focusing on how our members can promote the health and well-being of the public they serve
